feiert 25-jähriges Bestehen
Das DIK feierte am 18.11. und 19.11. 25 Jahre des Institutes (1984-2009). Im alten Rathaus Hannover trafen sich Politik und Wissenschaft und sprachen über die Vergangenheit und die Zukunft des Institutes.
Das Deutsche Institut für Kautschuktechnologie e. V. (DIK) 
feierte in diesem Jahr sein 25-jähriges bestehen. Auf einer Festveranstaltung vom 18.11.-19.11.2009 im Alten Rathaus Hannover wurde das bestehen seit 1984 durch den Geschäftsführenden Vorstand Prof. Dr. Robert H. Schuster, Laudatoren aus Politik und Wirtschaft und einer Reihe von Vorträgen aus dem Institut, dem wissenschaftlichen Umfeld und der Industrie festlich begangen.
Das auf die Initiative der deutschen Kautschukindustrie und des Niedersächsischen Ministeriums für Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Verkehr gegründete DIK hat dem Grusswort von Prof. Schuster zu entnehmen eine höchst erfolgreiche Arbeit inden letzten 25 Jahren geleistet. Folgerichtig sprach anschließend der Niedersächsische Wirtschaftsminister J. Bode das eröffnende Grußwort. Nach weiteren Grussworten aus Politik und Wirtschaft folgten Vorträge über das Gestern, das Jetzt und die Zukunft des Institutes. Am zweiten Tag lag der Schwerpunkt auf wissenschaftlichen Vorträgen aus Industrie und Wissenschaft.

celcebrates 25th anniversary
The DIK celebrated on 18.11. and 19.11. its 25th anniversary (1984-2009). Arranged at the "Altes Rathaus Hannover" guests from politics and science met and reviewed the history and future of the institute.
The Deutsche Institut für Kautschuktechnologie e. V. (DIK) celebrated this year its 25th anniversary. On a commemorative event from 18.11. to 19.11.2009 in the "Altes Rathaus Hannover" the jubilee greetings, talks and presentations were given from members of politics, science and industry.
The DIK, a foundation initiated by the German rubber industry and the economics ministry of the state of Lower Saxony, made an excellent work in the past 25 years, as Prof. Schuster remarked in his greeting. Hence the economics minister of the state of Lower Saxony J. Bode opened the laudation. The following greetings from politics and industry were subsequently followed by talks on history, now and future of the institute. On second day the main focus was on scientific presentations from industry and the scientific community.
